A textile manufacturing and retail group company, with a total size of 250 million USD, began collaborating with Mentoro to define its strategic direction, investment areas, expectations for group companies, and organizational structure.
As part of this project, strategic intentions and objectives were set for the companies, along with core, adjacent, and transformational business areas and target sectors. Target countries and customer segments were identified based on potential and existing competencies.
Subsequently, group structuring options aligned with the group’s vision and strategy were developed, and a thorough advantages-disadvantages analysis was conducted to determine the most suitable organizational structure. Job descriptions for group-level positions were created, decision-making authorities between business units and individuals were defined, and the senior management structure was designed. This included structuring the committees reporting to the Board of Directors, specifying the required member composition, and defining management approaches.
A structure was established that supports rapid decision-making and agility for the group, facilitates quick adaptation to external changes, avoids silo mentality, and is easily understandable for employees.
