Our client, a global holding company encompassing various industrial firms, aimed to provide lean-agile transformation and scaled agile framework (‘agile at scale’) methodology transfer workshops for project managers leading technology and R&D transformations across 7 industrial group companies operating in more than 5 sectors.
Our support, which continued for approximately 6 months, began with a full-day workshop, followed by another full-day workshop two months later when the specific project topics within the companies were defined, delving into the methodology in more detail. Subsequently, one-on-one support was provided to project managers in three sprint cycles lasting 2 weeks each, along with half-day workshops. In total, we transferred competencies to more than 20 professionals.
The Project Managers’ competencies were developed in the following areas:
- Implementing improvements in process flows and applying Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement approaches
- Generating customer-oriented metrics to increase process efficiency and ensuring proper reporting
- Creating an agile transformation project portfolio and adopting a hybrid approach by incorporating traditional methods in project planning when necessary
- Planning and managing sprint activities, bringing together teams that will carry out the agile transformation, and planning team activities effectively
Their progress was monitored closely, and feedback was provided to the teams at the end of each sprint period.
During the transfer of these methods, support was provided to enable companies to implement agile transformation in digital and industrial domains. The implementation of new concepts and methods was closely followed, ensuring concrete results were achieved.
