Hamit earned his B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul and later completed an MBA at the University of Florida, USA.
With over 20 years of experience, Hamit has specialized in analytics, customer relationship management, and data-driven marketing strategies. He began his career at Federal Express in Memphis, where he held roles in marketing analytics and technology, leading IT and business teams to leverage vast amounts of data for enhanced customer service.
He later became a founding partner of the EMEA offices of Peppers & Rogers Group, a U.S.-based leader in customer-centric business strategy consulting, where he worked across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Additionally, as a Partner in the U.S. office, he led the global analytics group, helping clients build analytics functions, develop data infrastructures, and deploy analytical models to achieve business goals.
In 2014, Hamit co-founded Analytics Center, focusing on the use of data and analytics in business, and has advised and invested in multiple analytics-related initiatives, including vertical machine learning solutions for industries such as advertising and e-commerce. Hamit is a member of various professional organizations and serves as a board member for start-ups and non-profit organizations. He frequently speaks at conferences and writes about analytics and data-driven business strategies.
In his personal life, Hamit is passionate about mentorship and enjoys contributing to the growth of innovative businesses and ideas.
